Hey everyone my RNY is on the 19th went to my pre screen appointment today. Started my optifast 2 days ago. I’m just feeling really sad and down and a bit depressed. Anyone else feel like this before surgery?

Thank you for the reply I’m keep trying to tell myself I’m going to be saving myself from future hurt by going through it now I mean RNY is better than heart surgery right?

Hello everyone I hope all are well and keeping safe. So I have RNY surgery coming up on august 19th and I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s driving me nuts. I’m looking forward to losing weight because I have a lot of health problems and I have also put on a lot of weight recently I can barely walk. So I know I have no choice but to do this surgery but I’m scared AF I’m like am I going to die? I’m terrified of being put to sleep. I also have been online reading people’s horror stories about regret after wls. I’m going bananas
