N ceee got a reaction from Suzi_the_Q in Paying for WLS
My sister and I wen to Tijuana MX. We had it done with VIVE plastics and we had a great experience with them. We each paid 4000 including the medicine and stuff the gave us to take home. We had ours Done like a month ago and i do not regret it one bit. At the beginning i hated it because it was all liquids, but then i was like its all in my mind. I know i can do it, and so far so good.

Sleeved 6/8. My doctor said yes to shrimp and melted cheese. I've ate Shrimp 2x. Both times I was only able to eat 2 pieces.

I’ve come to the uneducated conclusion that post op diets past the 4th week are so disparate that they are essentially meaningless. Mine was pretty honest when pressed about this, saying I could try anything I want and if it doesn’t work I’ll know, and short of gorging myself I’m not going to hurt anything at this point. I’m four weeks tomorrow but I’ve had raw veggies, chicken breast etc without issue but that’s me. I’m lucky in that nothing has bothered me, but I’m limiting solids to about 1oz and love the restriction. Obviously healthy choices are key from here on out so I’m not breaking out a box of donuts... but a nibble of x or y isn’t going to erupt out of my stomach like an alien. It’ll either agree with me or not and I can adjust accordingly. But I’m not a doctor, follow yours please and be comfortable in knowing you have a paid professional in your corner, not some rando internet poster like me. :)

I got this Cauliflower Crusted Pizza recipe from YouTube and decided to make it; it was delicious! May I add, this is my first time cooking something that isn’t soup or mac n’ cheese. I decided to cut the portions in half since I’m sleeved. This Cauliflower Pizza is super simple and delicious!

    Ingredients:

    - Cheese Grater
    - 1 Cup of Grated Cauliflower
    - 1/2 Egg
    - 1/2 Cup Parmesean
    - Pizza Sauce
    - Mozzarella
    - Spinach
    - 4 Sliced Cherry Tomatoes

I was drinking pickle juice at one month. It was incredibly satisfying!

It just depends on your surgeon. I’m 5 weeks out and have them finely chopped in tuna salad.

I wouldn't rely on a random FB post for your dietary guidelines since they vary widely by surgeon. What does your surgeon say?
I love pickles, and I was eating them at 1 month out - I just chopped them up and chewed carefully. My surgeon had no restrictions after 1 month besides carbonated soda.
