  1. I work with the school district as well. I had no problems returning the next day. I had so much anxiety about it. And everyone kept telling me it was nothing to it. They were right.
  2. I had my EGD last Wednesday. It was the best sleep I've had in years!!!! I blinked twice after they gave me meds and then woke up in recovery. They did a biopsy of my lower stomach because I had some redness. My throat was a little scratchy up until the next morning and had some nausea. But nothing major at all. I went home and slept until 4 PM and then went back to sleep at 10!! No problems at all.
  3. Congratulations. I haven't had my surgery yet, but I'm hoping for November or December. My stats are close to yours and reading this makes me even more excited!!!
  4. I haven't had surgery yet, but have already encountered people like this. Whenever someone tells me it's the easy way out, I have to remind them and myself it's only a tool, not a magic pill. If I could have lost the weight on my own, I would have by now. I also have to remind myself why I'm doing it, for my health and to be able to enjoy my family more. I do hope things get better for you.
  5. I have my last appointment with my nutritionist on Oct 16 and my surgeon on Oct 20. I'm hoping for a November date as well.
  6. I'm scheduled to have mine Wednesday 9/9. I'm anxious about it, even though everyone says it's an easy procedure and you don't remember anything. I'm a gagger, so I can't imagine how this is going to go!!!
  7. Prayers and best wishes
  8. I've always wanted to be able to go on rides, water slides, and go-carts without looking at the weight limit or fearing the seatbelts would not fit. I've always wanted to shop from the boutiques without only being able to look at the little rack they have shoved in a corner with plus size clothes. I've wanted to enjoy exercising again. I used to do CrossFit and loved it.
  9. I'm having surgery in November/December and this hasn't even crossed my mind. Thank you for the heads up!! Just changing diets has affected mine.
