Susan, It is a little puffy knot right at the top of the long port scar. I live in Florence Al. About 2 Hour to my Dr. We got to go to Birimgham Al mon. My Husband is very sick. 2 years ago he had cancer in his voice box. With treatment it when away they said, He had test last week and it has come back. So for the next few week my mind will be on him. He was even to sick to go with me when I had surg. We need alot of prayers.Thank everyone For your support. Dr Foreman did my surg July 2 and I love it. He was so nice and the Hospital was good. I had to stay all night. I was so sick from the meds they put me to sleep with. I alway do that after surg. They wouldn't let me stay in pain they was bring the pain med to me and hold me hand when I was so sick. I was better the next day and came home. I was banded July 2. Where the band was put in has got red and sore. but ok now. I'm doing fine but the gas is bad. Hate the water, but I'm drinking it.Hope everone in July is doing great. Best wishes to all Mackie:thumbup:

Was banded on the 2nd of July. wake up sick and had to stay in the hospital over night. Next day sore, but doing great now.The liquid diet is tough.Wish everyone good luck, just hang in there it gets better each day.jonesie keep me posted how you are doing. I'm on Novolin 70/30 68 units in the morning and 60 at night. Still don't help yes and i take meds too. It still runs 285 or more. I was at the Dr office and it was 320. I take so much meds i'm hoping the surg will get me off all of this.Has anyone out there been able to get off of they med. I'm new to this web site, and it has already help me. A new me! Hey Barbara465, I to thought I was having my surg in June Dr Forman office call it is july 1. He is in Huntsville Al. Just a week later.I just got back from a cruise to Mexico had a ball and eat all that good food. good luck with your surg.I'm to go to the Dr a week before surg, will he put me on a liquid diet? I'm Mackie, a grandmother, I'm 58 years old and would love to keep up with my grandchildren. I'm not olded yet, I'm not ready to be put to the paster.I'm at 200 pds can't loss it, having diabetes I stay hungery all the time,night eating.
