  1. I was sleeved 2/11 also! And I also hit a stall on day 14. Wa slowing 1-2 lbs. per day and then stayed the same the rest of the week. Kinda glad I’m not alone! I bet (hope) we will start losing again soon!!! I also hit a stall three weeks after surgery. Think it’s normal
  2. I must have had the best doctor in the world because I had no pain after surgery. I did not need pain pills. It doesn’t sound normal to have that much pain. Did you contact your doctor?
  3. It has not been pleasant. I eat two bites and I am full. I am pleased with the results.
  4. How do I update my ticker?
  5. Surgery date was February 6th. Caught a stomach virus in the hospital so it’s been pretty bad but hanging in there. 20 lbs lost
  6. My luck while in hospital I caught a stomach virus! I was very sick and am just now recovering. Thanks for your answers
  7. Plus how do I change the ticker
  8. Two weeks out from surgery. I have heartburn every day and burping. Is that normal?
  9. It doesn’t hurt but it’s uncomfortable. I have not thrown up or felt sick
  10. I am four days post op and is it normal to feel everything you drink all the way to the bottom? I hope it’s not always gonna feel uncomfortable
  11. IF it was so easy to diet then why are there so many obese people in the US??? It is not easy and its certainly NOT easy to keep it off. I think I have gained back that same 50 lbs many many times. :smile2: url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wLIU89B/] [/url]
  12. OMG yall make url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wlETqcv/] me laugh so much.... TY TY TY
  13. HI crazy I had my band on may 23rd and so far i have only lost 3 lbs since my surgery and YES it is very frustrating. I haven't had my first fill yet and this week I felt like I could eat a horse!!! I think this will work for us if we just hang in there . Someone told me after the second fill they felt the restriction so it really depends on each person.
  14. HEY, can anyone tell me WHY us bandsters can't have carbonation???:drool:
  15. OK stupid here..what is DS? lol and you made me laugh
  16. 3 fills before results?? omg...I was excited thinking it was gonna help on the first fill. lol thanks emma
  17. I had my band done on May 23rd and I haven't had my first fill yet and I am NOT losing weight!!! I get my first fill on july 9th and for 2 weeks now I haven't lost any weight at all. Of course I don't feel restricted so I can eat more than I should but I don't. DOes anyone else have this problem? When i get my first fill will I notice it?
  18. OH ty but that sounds NASTY!! I am 12 days into my band and haven't had anything to disagree with me yet but I guess that won't happen until I get myfirst fill. RIGHT?
  19. Sorry FLuffy I have been married 37 years, sex is the last thing on my mind LOL BUT i would think oral sex would be ok. WINK
  20. can someone explain to me what PB means??? I guess I am ignorant of the band language. LOL
  21. I had so many reservations a few years ago and until i literally couldnt take care of myself in the health department (embarassing) I knew it was time to do something. I was banded May 23rd and so far it has been the best decision of my life. I think each of us has to get to their OWN bottom of the barrel before doing surgery. I was just tired of being TIRED.
  22. Hi, 5 years ago I was interested in the gastric bypass and even went to the doctor to set it allup and they lost my weight charts for the last 5 years so I couldn't do the surgery. THANK GOD!! Now that the lapband is so popular and more safe I am so glad I waited to get it done. I had one doctor tell me that after age 50 most don't benefit from the surgery and I told him where he could stick it!! Just because we are over 50 doesn't mean we stop living and want to start feeling and looking good again. I have type 11 Diabetes along with many other problems associated with weight gain. It's been now 9 days after surgery and I have lost 15 lbs. I think this is the best thing since slice bread and am so glad I had it done. I know weight loss is going to be slow but I don't care as long as it's coming off andnot going on I am happy. I was borderline helpless and almost to the verge of not being able to take care of myself. I am 5'1" and my starting weight was 227 and now I am at 212. For all of you that have diabetes believe me this is the way to go. I am now down to one actos a day and my BS is doing great. I feel so much more energetic and am looking forward to doing things I haven't done in years. One question for all of you, when can we swim again?
