  2. That’s some of the best news you can get! Food-wise, you may have to be looser with restrictions and let your body tell you what it needs. Each of my pregnancies changed how I ate. Don’t be too strict on yourself and know your body is telling you what it needs to nourish your baby.
  3. You don’t need to have a food problem to need WLS. With the death of my daughter, I gained 100lbs in a span of 4 years. I chose the surgery so I could be healthier for my remaining children. But if your doctor recommended WLS, then they believe weight/food is a factor with your lung health. It’s great to hear the asthma has decreased with the surgery. Work with your nutritionist/dietician to explore these new meal portions. Suzi gave great guidance - acknowledge is part of the healing process and long-term success.
