I lived with a spouse who never supported my weight loss...ever! Always said it was a waste of time. My heart goes out to you. I’m 4 days post and my current spouse supports me 100%. Do what’s best for your family. I had to wait 20 years for my WLS. I WISH YOU THE BEST!
I found this great protein gummy recipe:
2 boxes of 3 oz flavored gelatin
4 packages of unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup water
4 Tbs unflavored liquid protein (60 grams)
Boil water. Stir in both forms of gelatin until completely dissolved. Remove from heat. Let cool. Add protein when mixture cools but still a little warm. Drop by eye dropper into gummy molds. Cool in refrigerator for 30 minutes. ENJOY!
I’m a transplant patient and required to take meds twice daily. How do you get meds down? For practice, I tried crushing a Tylenol and mix it with jello and just about vomited. Do all meds need crushed? What about capsules? Small pills? I can’t find any info on this.
I’m a kidney transplant patient. I received my gift of life 2 years ago. I’ve gained 50lbs being on steroids and transplant meds. I used to run 3-4 half marathons a year and now I can barely make it up a couple flights of stairs. My surgery is scheduled February 24th.
