  3. It's nice to know someone else dealt with this too, and I agree that a battle plan of sorts would be good to make should this happen further out. Thank you guys...I really appreciate the input.?
  4. While I do not have PCOS, I have always found that my weight loss efforts have stalled around my period. For me, i am guaranteed a little stall around ovulation and my period. It feels frustrating because as you said, you are doing everything the same. For me, I know I just have to ride out the stall for a few days and then it's back on track. I'm not sure if that's the same for PCOS since I know there is some irregularities in the cycle, but I would like to think it's not too far off base. Hang in there and keep holding steady. All your hard work with catch up to you soon!

  6. I am just about 2 weeks post-OP and I am really struggling with cravings, specifically for savory foods. I haven't actually tried anything, but my brain is telling me I could tear through a whole pizza or a plate full of taco bell. I've been on liquids now for about 4 weeks (2 pre-OP and almost 2 post-op). Is this just my mind going stir-crazy? Do these cravings start to subside one whole foods are allowed (5 weeks post-OP for me)? Any input is appreciated!
  7. I had my surgery this last Monday. I was nauseous overnight at the hospital but fortunately didn't need to receive any heavy pain medication there. I got sick Tuesday night after returning home as I drank to much too quickly (and gagged on the liquid pain medication they prescribed me). By Thursday, I was beginning to realize the burping after drinking was probably a sign that my new little pouch was full. On Friday, armed with that knowledge, I was able to get in almost all of my recommended fluid and had very little burping. Every day will get better as you start to get a feel for your new body. Just try to move as much as you can, and keep rest as you need it. I'm only 5 days post-OP, but I'm already starting to feel better. Just give it a few more days...YOU'VE GOT THIS!!
