  3. I understand perfectly how do you feel about eating soft foods. When I started that phase I quickly found out that certain things would not stay down, such as tuna and other things as I came across them. The important thing is to remember to chew your food really really well at least 20 times before you try to swallow. I can tell you from learning the hard way, and throwing up multiple times from trying to eat too quickly it is not a fun thing to spend the next two hours feeling sick. Just take it slow and incorporate little things at a time to see how you do. Good luck.
  4. I was told I could do the cream soups starting Monday. I don’t know about any protein pudding‘s. I was told I could eat sugar free pudding. You can have these after you’re clear liquids or according to your physicians plan.
  5. It might help if I could drink some of my protein drinks. They didn’t have me starting on those until Tuesday. But the broth from the Pho restaurant sounds of interest. I used to love beef broth before surgery now I like the chicken broth better.
  6. I had my surgery 6 days ago and being on a more restrictive clear liquid than pre-surgery, I am starving. Nothing I drink is helping this feeling subside. Is there anything I can do? I thought about sucking on pieces of a saltine cracker.
