    Always talk to your surgeon before trying to wean yourself off of meds. I know in my case my Dr. Prescribed them for an entire year, twice a day. He said they obviously help prevent GERD but also promote healing in our new sensitive stomachs. So maybe after the year mark you can talk to your Dr. About other options. Good Luck! GERD sucks!!

    Call your Dr.'s office and see if they can change it to liquid Oxycodone it should be easier to fill. Also, the hospital that did the surgery (not sure on your insurance) should have a pharmacy and they could probably fill the morphine prescription.
