  1. Good morning/afternoon, I was wondering if anyone had pre-op diet counseling. Like, did your surgeon have you take classes on HOW to eat better? What foods are actually good and bad for you? And how to get onto a better food path? So far my monthly check-ins have only consisted of the nurse practitioner asking how I'm doing. There is really not much support. I mean I got as heavy as I am because I was never taught how to eat right. How am I supposed to know what foods are good for me?
  2. Has anyone had Dr. Luis Benevente from Elkhart, Indiana perform a Gastric Sleeve? And did you have to go through the BMI center for your pre-op visits? Were they any good? Did they give you any counseling on what to nutrition and teach the proper ways to eat? Or did they just kinda throw you out there and expect you to know what to do?
