    I am 67 going on 68 in October and I felt the same way of wondering was I too old. I was too 225 lbs and with high blood pressure and sleep apnea also suffer from thyroid and on thyroid meds. For years on you diets but I had the surgery and has lost weight well. Have the surgery and enjoy the rest of your journey. Keep me informed also. Good luck??. How did it go and how are you.
