Sienna20 got a reaction from ?VeGan❤️HeArT? in December 2019 Sleevers, how are you doing? What’s your stats?I had my surgery 12/10/19 and I have lots of temptations and I've slipped up bc food kinda was an addiction for me and I "quit cold turkey" and the diet planning is hard when you live on a budget. Anyone have any ideas on which brands or food are good bc I've run out of protein shakes so I may not be getting enough not sure
but overall it's still successful I've lost 34 lbs since then and don't need to take blood pressure pills or diabetic medicine so that's pretty cool to me

Sienna20 reacted to momof3_angels in Not sureGaining weight isn't the result of 1 or 2 slip ups... it is a result of not following your nutrition plan and staying on track MOST to ALL of the time. We all have a slip up... but don't let it derail you from your nutrition plan and your goals.
And next time I would avoid any and all breads/rice/pasta and similar foods as well as sweets. I am 4 months post op and already at my docs goal weight, but I know that these are things I need to avoid as much as possible for the rest of my life. It isn't that I never have any of these items (well, rice I don't), but I definitely limit and control how much of it I eat. For example: I went to Olive Garden last week. I ordered meals with minimal carbs (to the greatest extent possible at Olive Garden). One of my vices is I LOVE their bread sticks. Instead of grabbing and eating a breadstick... I asked my son if I could pinch off a tiny piece from his breadstick. I did that twice. Two tiny pieces of bread (much smaller than a normal bite size). I got to taste my beloved breadstick, but I did not eat enough to do any damage. And remember, I am MONTHS out and I have reached docs goal (not my goal). I am allowed to eat most regular foods while limiting my carb intake.

Sienna20 reacted to loridee11 in First goal: 50 lbs down!So excited, today I am 50 lbs down from when I started the entire journey. 41.6 of that was pre-surgery and the last 8 has been since surgery a week ago. Crazy to think how far I still have to go, but for today, celebrating where I am at!

Maybe you should also block her texts? You have made a move to better yourself and your health and it sounds like she is jealous. I am sorry that she is being this way.
