  2. Good luck! I have been on saxenda for 14 months and the firs maybe five months it really worked and then it just stopped being effective and I only lost now fifty pounds in a little over a year. But I guess it’s still in the right direction. I am still in the stage of trying to get all my testes done. Hope it works better for you!
  3. Hello everyone! I have started the process of getting approved for surgery and I feel like I am not sure how I stay on a vegetarian diet after surgery. I am a horrible cook and I hate to cook also. I really like that I eliminated the inflammation in by body by going vegetarian and I really don’t want to go off but I’m nervous about after the surgery any suggestions because now I kinda just steam veggies or cook the morning star burgers eat. I have only been a vegetarian since September 2019. Still very new n learning. Help please I appreciate all you can offer. Thank you in advanced!
  4. Sorry the appointment is January 2020.
  5. I am about to meet the surgeon that maybe I could possibly trust for my gastric bypass if I get approved. I go on January 8, 2021. I am very nervous n very excited. What kind of things should I ask him ? Any advice from anyone? I got a second job just working on Sundays at a hair salon as an assistant and it was only five hours and my back was in so much pain . I hid the pain but I had to take a half of pain pill to get through and I really need the extra money. I am really tired of feeling pain and helpless. I have back problems from a bus accident in 2005 and I need two new hips n 2new knees. I am only 47 and I am falling apart fast n not liking it. I feel like if I don’t get this surgery I will not be around for many more years. Any advice will be welcomed and appreciated. Thank you

  7. I am just starting this journey and am really nervous about how to find a great surgery center and surgeon. I recently went to Monmouth Medical Center Bariatric centers seminar and you had to sign up for it and there was only 2 of us that signed up and only I showed up and the nurse and a few other staff where there and they said that the doctors where still in surgery and mind you it was 7pm and there was at least 4 surgeons. My thing is I had a feeling that since there was only two people I felt like the surgeons couldn’t be bothered to come for so few people. I believe this is true because I worked for a surgeon and he thought that way. Just walking into the hospital and going to this thing took everything I had in me and then it really wasn’t even worth it. So anyway I really was looking to see if anyone out there has had surgery at MMC or where they think the best drs are in NJ. PLEASE very nervous and don’t want to die on the table because I picked a bad surgeon. Need help please! Thank you in advance!
