I hope you can have them both done at the same time. I was supposed to have mine done at the same time but my gallbladder burst the night before my surgery so all they could do was clean me out and give me antibiotics. They rescheduled my sleeve for 3 months later after I had a chance to heal from the first surgery
I didn't get my period regularly until I got the sleeve and I was considering premenopausal since not having it in almost a year... until I got the sleeve... now Ive gotten it regularly every month
I tried a cup of seltzer at about 12 weeks post surgey and never again. I even watered it down and had plenty of ice and still the stomach pains were horrible
I'm doing ok. I'm eating free breakfast and lunch from the local school so though it's not always the healthiest options like cereal it is better than anything I'd be getting from dunkin donuts or McDonalds by my job. So though I've been sitting home majority of the week I'm still down 66lbs.
I eat from Ramekins or mini appetizer dishes with these tiny appetizer utensils. These force me to take little bites since they are smaller than my daughter's doll spoons. I buy boxes of them from Amazon. It comes with teeny plates, bowls and utensils. The perfect size for bariatric survivors.
Mine is scheduled for January 7th. I'm incredibly nervous. I've been hesitant to follow the pre diet with the joy of the holidays. I know this is basically my last Christmas
