  1. Thanks Trish... I have an update...went to the open seminar that the Portsmouth Docs gave this past Tuesday. Very informative. Turns out some NH insurance carriers don't allow any Bariatric anything. I checked with Harvard P and they do...same reasons as you got. Good luck...stay in touch... Susan

Go for it...get what YOU need to realize your goals. He sounds like a controller...I have one and it takes a lot of energy to deal with controllers...they are only out for their goals...not supporting yours
  3. Does anyone remember where the seminar/info session is in June? The number to call to sign up would be helpful...thanks
  4. Thanks Moe...I'll get more specifics. I did find out that my ins. will pay for lapband. Now I just need to go to the info meeting and the psyche eval. I'm really looking forward to getting it done now that I've made my decision and had my primary care phys say that he agrees it is a plausable remedy. :smile2:
  5. Hi everyone...another NH person looking for info on lap band surgery. I am also going to the informational meeting in June. Question...I see from Portsmouth Dr's website the list of insurance carriers they accept. I have Harvard Pilgram...anyone have that insurance and got the lap band?
