I am 6 months out and I am just starting to lose my hair...ALOT of hair. I have long hair and when I brush it, it comes out like crazy. I noticed it last week and this week it is even worse. I am freaking out. It has taken me 20 years just to grow it to this length, I just hope it stops soon before I go bald. banded 3/3/06 Dr. Kuri 225/172.8/135 5'7"

Im down 49 pounds from march 3rd. I started at 225, my goal was to be 160 by the time I turned 40 which is the 23rd of this month, I'm not gonna make it! DARN...........:think

I have only had my band for a short time, but I would do it again in a second. I have lost almost 40 pounds. I feel so much better about myself and I actually have HOPE of being thin again.

Hi I was banded on march 3, 2006. I have lost a total of 34 pounds. I have already had 2 fills and really don't have much restriction. The main thing that has changed with me is I crave sweets. I was never a sweet eater, you could leave a whole cake in front of me and it would be safe, If it was a steak however it would have been gone in 2.2 seconds. I don't ever post but this debate has made me want to post. I went to Mexico to be banded and I would do it again. The hospital was like a resort hotel. The care was fantastic! Dr. Kuri has done over 2,000 lap bands. I have only been banded since march of this year and I have lost 35 pounds. I would not trade this band for a garage or a new car! Who is doing your surgery in Mexico? I am also having my surgery on the 3rd. I was just reading all the posts and found a negative one on the Dr. that will be performing my surgery, now I am getting worried...I hope I didn't pick the wrong surgeon.
