  1. Wow!! Looks real good for 1 week PO. And your side by side - already what a difference!! I am still very bruised (robot-assisted RNY 1/28). Mine is ugly as I've had multiple abdominal surgeries, laparoscopic and full open, so they had to pick and choose where they made their incisions. Might be the robot side that's so bruised, but don't know. Best wishes to you and happy healing!! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Agree on asking your Dr. The meal plan I'm on (RNY) allows SF pudding after clear liquids are tolerated. The white chocolate SF pudding is de-lish. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Congrats! Sounds like you're doing great! I got home yesterday and have to admit...my bed was NOT the place to sleep first night home!! Getting into it was so much easier than getting out. Lesson learned -recliner it is for a while. [emoji21] Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Hi ccorrea! I also had RNY on Jan 28th! I got to go home today. That 2nd day was a toughie for me, but I feel I turned the corner last night. Everything's going well so far. Sounds like it is for you, too! Hope you do get released soon if you haven't already. I do feel restriction and am taking it very easy!! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. Dr. de la Torre is doing mine as well. Jan 28th is my date. I'll have to circle back and see how you're doing!! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Hi! Got my date yesterday - 1/28/2020. Having RNY - Overland Park, KS (Bariatric and Metabolic Specialists; surgeon is Dr. Roger de la Torre). Surgeon said it's the best option for a newly-diagnosed Type 2 diabetic. Nervous, excited, everything all rolled up together for the life change! Pre-OP requirement -1 week liquid diet. I may have more pre-OP requirements when I see the nurse-practitioner Jan 16th. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Hi! My surgery is the 28th, too! Having RNY. I'm nervous, but trying to remember this is a journey to better health for me. Like you said - eyes on the prize!! I'll be starting the 1-week liver shrink on the 21st. I'll be thinking of you! Here's to better health!! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
