  10. I’m 51 and having revision from band to rny November 26th.
  11. Close I’m on November 26th.
  12. I had my first bad experience today telling someone. I haven’t exactly been keeping it a secret at work since it’s basically impossible with the gossip mill there. The office manager came up to me and asked me if I was having surgery. I told him yes. He then asked what for. So I told him. He replied “is that going to do anything”. I mentally throat punched him and said yes. He chuckled. I mentally kicked him in a not very nice place. I chuckled. Then I was saved by another coworker and escaped him lunacy. Good times. Next person that asks I’m telling I’m having a hernia repaired I swear. LOL

  15. November 26th surgery date for my RNY. Two weeks pre op diet 5 protien shakes a day with 1/2 cup veggies or fruit snacks in between and 8 oz of water in between each shake too. Fun Begins the 12th! LOL
  16. I’ve been doing this same thing. Caffeine was the hardest. But now the canine headaches are gone and I’m just down to my occasional fun sized piece of candy which is gone next Monday. That’s my drop dead day. Pre op liquid diet starts the 12th and I say goodbye to old eating thoughts and Bad foods forever. I’m very all or none and if I tell myself eating it will make me dump I’ll avoid it. I hate being sick that much.
  17. Thanks I’m super nervous and excited all at the same time. It’s been a journey to get here but it’s all about to pay off. I about cried when I got the approval letter from my insurance company. LOL.
  18. After many months of jumping through insurance hoops I’m scheduled for November 26th for my revision from lap band (2008) to rny. And the new journey begins!
