Sunshine2020 got a reaction from PollyEster in October Surgery Roll Call
I hope everyone is doing well. I’m struggling with grazing as well. Let’s not give up. I feel Better than I’ve felt in years! I’m down 70 pounds total. I haven't worked out in a month . SMH. Surgery was 10/22/19

    Its definitely up ?.
Now I am better than when I was 19 (I was horrible at 16). Prior to surgery I was having issues getting and staying erect. Now I can last longer and then orgasm and keep going. I have had my wife ask "Did I get you?". Never in my life has that been asked by her before. First time she said that I was all smiles.

Sunshine2020 reacted to GreenTealael in 5 days post op hunger pains or what?
At 5 days post op it could be gas, reflux, healing/movement of the organs, etc or hunger (but you cannot eat anyway, so let's just call it thirst ?)
Hydrate (water, tea, protein shakes etc) and stay on plan. You can do this! And contacts your Team if anything changes.
    Good Luck ?

This is Day 1 for me. I'm still in the hospital hoping to go home. My nurse told me I had to drink 2 bottles of water before I went home...so I'm struggling with that. For breakfast I'm having broth. They just gave me Tylenol via IV. So the pain is bearable. Now I am getting ready to walk the halls to help with this gas. I am definitely feeling better today.

This is my day 2 after surgery on Oct 21. I’m finding that it’s hard to swallow pills, but it was hard for me before anyway.
I’m in some pain, but not unbearable. I also have chosen not to take any narcotics—they don’t agree with me.
I’m on a high protein full liquid diet for the next ten days and those days can’t go by fast enough. It turns out that I’m not a fan of artificial sweeteners, which seem to be in all the pre-made protein drinks I purchased.
I’m trying to keep in mind my goals for having the surgery. That this stage is temporary — and that the long term goals are worth it!
