  1. Hello-I am scheduled for surgery December 8 and I'm wondering what you all would recommend having on hand for when I get home. I don't want to overbuy shakes or protein powder as I know tastes change, but I don't necessarily want my husband to have to run to the store right away. So, what do you recommend?
  2. I am looking at purchasing some meal prep containers to have on hand for after my surgery so I can portion out food and be ready for lunch packing and whatnot. I'm trying to decide what size to get. Do you recommend sticking with 4 ounce or going bigger and just using less space. One thought I have is that 4 oz full looks like more than 8 oz half full. But I also want to be able to keep using them. But I guess 4 ounces is just a good size to have. Thoughts?
  3. I would love it if I was able to get scheduled that soon after my last diet visit.
  4. I just got back from my appointment. It was pretty quick and easy. They did the h Pilori testing (ugg, that drink). Then we went over some dietary goals for the next month until my 2nd visit. @november11 yes, I only need 2 visits, but they have to be 30 days apart-I tried to get my next one moved up. After that they will run it through insurance for approval and I have an appointment to schedule. I'm hoping that I'll be able to have surgery at the end of November. My preference would have been the start of November, but I don't think it will go that fast.
  5. I had my first consult to make sure I am a good candidate for sleeve surgery, now I just need to have 2 diet visits and my psych consult. Today is the 1st diet visit. Any thoughts on what I should expect? I'm sure every office is different, I'm just curious about other's experience.
