  2. thanks kiki!!! i just want to make sure someone isnt carrying a special secret to losing the weight that i dont know about:blushing: after spending so much money i want this to finally work i have tried so many other diets and jnk that this one WILL and CAN work!!!:biggrin:
  3. so teacher you were banded 14 days before me so a full 2 weeks ok i see where this is going to work..
  4. so you lost 25 after you had the surgery... and 10 prior. i see that isnt too bad i have lost 7 sice the day before surgery and i am still very swollen so it is possible for me to lose the 25 pounds as well ok i just want what i wnt and i want it now!!!! KWIM!:biggrin:
  5. i hear you about the lump in the chair thing i am getting upevery hour or so and walking around but after this week i am going to do my best to get off my butt and get hoppoing on losing this weight i swee the dr next wed so i will do nothing til then.
  6. so kiki it says you have lost 35 pounds so far is that since you have had the band or is that the weight you worked to take off before they would schedule you for surgery??? and then including anything you lose now??? that is my big question.

  8. this is the site someone gave me today Weight Loss - Diet Ticker i went there and just followed the directions although i didnt put in my waist measurements as i am sure they are way off!!! and i copied the bbp code or whatever it is called. and put it in my siggy.

  10. i know i was just talking with the pain meds:wink2: i do hope to be up and around much sooner though as my DH has to be back to work next monday, and i have 5 kids but my older 2 are very helpful.
  11. perhaps some are adding in what they lost previously to being banded??? that is all i can think of bc i am not a whimpy person and i am having a hard time just walking down to the end of our property much less getting on any type of exercise equipment..

  13. is the average weight loss in the first month before a fill??? i have seen some tickers and they have lost almost 24 pounds is that pore and post surgery or sice the day they were banded??? i went with what i weighed at the dr. 2 days before surgery. bc when they weighed me at the hospital i was like 8 pounds less than at the dr.s 2 days before which can only be due to the 12 fast.

  15. i want a ticker and for the life of me i cant figure it out it has to be the pain meds see i am blaming everything on that til something new comes up:sneaky: bwahahahahahaha how do guys get yours and was it free i HEART free:wub: not that i have any weight loss to track so far well i suppose i could count pre op couldnt i then i would be down 5!!!!! yeah me!!!:biggrin:

  17. no let me rephrase i am very informed i didnt go into this with stars in my eyes. what i am saying is that my ins. didnt require any of these things to get the proceedure done. man these pain meds are doing a number on me:rolleyes2: i still have my appt with a dietician and i will be keeping it i just am curious if anyone else had a speedy walk through.
  18. my surgery went through before i could get any specific info. i havent seen the dieticien or anything i have an appointment but what did your dietician say about food consumption and all that. i ma not concerned just curious.
  19. i live in utica rome area and had the banding done 2 miles from my house! we have a new dr from california and he has been really good!!! i heart him:tt1:

  21. i was sooo going to post this question i was banded 3 days ago and knew that it had to be the gasses and water retention i just wanted someone to say it hee hee hee:lol: i soooo look forward to dropping the weight as fast as i can do you think 50 -60 pounds by hristmas would be to much???? i want to look fabulous!!!
  22. i would wear one but then again i am 5'6" and have a very shapely body just to much fat onhe shape KWIM :thumbdown: anyhow since i was only banded 3 days ago i am good for now.....
  23. i am three days post and was told by my dr. that i could move to a solid diet by the end of the week as long as i kept it nice and soft. but bc i am paranoid i am keeping it clear liquid for the rest of the week then will move to other liquids and maybe pudding and eggs we will see how it all makes me feel.
  24. hi, i was banded on july 28th and i am home and doing great i would love to have a few friends to talk and chat with about the whole process any takers??? i am a 35 YO SAHM of 5 darling angels nd my awesome husband works full time to support us.
