I went in for sleeve surgery on August 29. Woke up in ICU. They couldn’t complete surgery. Said that I might have a tear in my esophagus. After 2 CT scans and having an ENT doc put a camera down my throat they still weren’t sure if it was a tear or just tissue. I have a small mouth and throat. Wondering if it was tore, did they do that during intubation? Going back Sept 23 to have surgery finished. Needless to say I’m nervous this time around. Have a had tubes hanging out of my stomach since last attempt at the surgery. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening?

Pudge.vsg. I’m the 29th also. Today is day 7 of 10 for the 10 day diet. Yesterday was my worst day. You was crabby and wanting real food. We can do this!!! Thursday will be here before we know it! And we will only get healthier from there!!!

My InsuranceRequired me to see a nutritionist for three months. If I would’ve missed one of the appointments then I would’ve had to start all over. So maybe they wanted you to see a nutritionist for six months in a row? I would ask the insurance company exactly what they want you to do

I have FEPBLUE. I started this process a year ago. They told me then that I would have to stop smoking but did get not give me a timeline. Then after seeing the psychiatrist they mention they would have to quit smoking for six months which brought me to June. They approve the surgery July 1 and I will go in and August 29

Wow. I’m going in August 29. No idea on cost but I hope it’s closer to the $20,000 area.
