  1. It’s hard for me to drink water too. Before the surgery no problem, that and unsweetened iced tea were all I drank. I’m trying different options like coconut water and Gatorade zero. They seem to go down a little better
  2. I had my surgery on Monday. I was given hot water and a decaf tea bag with a packet of equal, vegetable broth, no sugar added Italian ice, and sugar free jello. And 8oz bottles of water. I couldn’t really drink anything. On the last day they accidentally gave me apple juice which I drank and it didn’t hurt me. It sucks, home now and drinking orgain protein powder with ripple milk.
  3. I had my surgery on Monday and this is by far the worst problem that I had. I couldn’t drink so they kept me an extra day on an IV. This morning suddenly the pain subsided a lot. Surgeon didn’t think it was to much of an issue. But I hope it gets better for you!
