  2. Do you have it? Have you had it? How are you coping? I’m struggling mentally and need some words of encouragement!

  4. I have the same problem. My surgeon said it was orthostatic hypotension. I have an appt. with my primary care to talk about adjusting my bp medication. In the meantime, keep a check on your bp and make sure to talk to your surgeon and/or primary care physician.

  6. Thank you to all who answered my question without a sermon attached. Simply put, the information supplied by my surgeon didn’t address rice. I never said I was going to sit down and gorge on rice, but rather, I wanted to know when I could safely eat a small spoonful with my protein or it could be incorporated into a recipe.
  7. I don’t know why, but I really want some rice. Can anyone tell me when they tried rice, how it went, etc? You can’t really chew rice so, it scares me a bit. Thanks!
  8. I ate my first scrambled egg yesterday. (I had egg salad on week 2 and did fine). I didn’t have any problems with the scrambled eggs. However, I couldn’t finish the whole egg—I got full. I just made sure to chew mine extra good. My dog enjoyed my leftovers. Lol
  9. I’m in week three and my scale didn’t move a bit. I figure it’s a stall and I’m just going to keep on keeping on. From what I’ve read, stalls are normal. I’m trying remain positive. Hang in there.
  10. Hi all, I’m almost 2 weeks out from surgery and currently on my purée diet. When did u all start protein shakes? My info from the doctors office doesn’t indicate and I have a few pre-made Premier Protein shakes left over from my pre-op diet. Just want some input b4 I try them. Thanks!
  11. Thank you, everyone!! I’m so paranoid about potential complications. Lol
  12. Hi all! I’m new here. Had RNY ON 6/3. I’m doing really well, but still having a bit of soreness at the upper right incision area. Is this normal? Thanks!!! ?
