I went 3 weeks with not a pound lost. I lost so much the first month that my body was probably just adjusting. I've again not lost anything the last 4 days, even though I wear a Fitbit, exercise & track my food. I just have to trust this process. It will all be ok!

Tracydawn reacted to Healthy_life2 in On the petite side..(closer to only 100lbs to lose after surgery)Too many factors control if your loss is fast or slow.
I’m 5’5” High weight 254 current weight 133. My weight loss was fast. Six months is not the norm. Size 4 pants – Small/medium shirts.

Tracydawn got a reaction from Lamermaid in ??stomach pain..is it really just acid????I've not had any other complications. No nausea or vomiting. I had no idea my little stomach didn't make acid... I will do some research on ulcers. The only food I can eat that doesn't hurt that I have found so far is home cooked beans. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. ?

Tracydawn got a reaction from locabecola21 in C diff infection post surgeryGoodness you really need to get them down. Is there anything you can keep down that you can put them in? Iced coffe (my nut says iced latte with milk is ok) pudding anything that is really yummy...as long as it doesnt hurt to to eat like dumping or cramps you may want to. You are at a stage you can eat most foods as long as they are chewed well. Keep us updated.

Tracydawn reacted to FluffyChix in C diff infection post surgeryDepends on the antibiotics. I don't think if it's Cipro of Fluorquinalones that you can take them with milk or even with calcium?
Sorry you are going through this! C-diff is the infection from Satan's spawn!

Tracydawn reacted to Sophie7713 in On the petite side..(closer to only 100lbs to lose after surgery)Hi Tracydawn, I am also 5 ft. I had GS surgery December 2018. Almost 4 1/2 months out now - I have lost 72 pounds. I am very strict (nothing processed) three small meals a day with no snacking. I walk every day. Very active with my business. Eat out regularly for business lunches usually ordering a small salad or shrimp cocktail (can only eat three shrimp) etc. And, of course, lots of water and I enjoy hot decaf tea with 1% milk later in the evenings. I don't experience stalls and very happy about my pace. I suspect there are others who loose slower or faster... So, I don't compare. Every body is different. The key for me has been to eat a variety of healthy, high quality nutrition fresh as possible and remain well-hydrated. The water is imperative to flushing out fat deposits, and I believe keeping my body on a steady downward course. You seem to be doing really well according to your stats. It will be an exciting ride! Continued success with each passing day toward your goal of 130! My goal too. Maybe by December 2019? :]

My bypass was June 21st 2018. I started at 227 and now weigh 133. Honestly I don't want to lose anymore seeing I am 5"2. I eat what I want just cant eat much. I never seem to get hungry or at least not the hungry I've always been used to all my life. I have more energy than I've had in years and love being able to wear smaller cloths.
I do have daily diarrhea no matter what I eat or how much. I hope this isn't something I'll have to deal with the rest of my life.
Best of luck to you!!

I too get super bad cramps and have chronic pain i took gabapetin to turn down my sensitivity. As for cramps i decided 2 days a month was worth 28 days of being pain free and having more energy. I havent taken anything for pain in 7 months and no more gabapetin 4 wks post op now.
