bravepotato got a reaction from ProudGrammy in New here ?Hey everyone!
I’m new here, found this community and joined last night. I’m so happy that I found people who have been through the same or similar to what I have, it makes me feel secure and comfortable in some way.
I had a mini gastric sleeve since I was not approved for the full gastric sleeve, my op was on February 15, 2019. I’ve lost 22 lbs so far, been struggling with losing weight for the past week and half but I’m trying to stay optimistic.
How did you go through this phase of not seeing any changes on the scale, and when did it change?

bravepotato got a reaction from Catherine Wible in Weight gainIt isn’t too late. Your stomach has stretched from over eating, this is why you’ve regained the weight. But you still can lose weight if you set your mind to it. Stick to a diet and remind yourself that you were given a second chance at life, don’t waste it. Good luck! -
bravepotato got a reaction from Bebeak in 3 months post OP and 5 weeks pregnantAlways wondered how pregnancy would go after a Bariatric surgery. Good luck! -
bravepotato reacted to audjoc in 3 months post OP and 5 weeks pregnantCongratulations!! I have not experienced this before but I know MANY women who have been pregnant and not gained any weight, some that were overweight even loss. I would definitely talk to your nutritionist and your dietitian as you want to ensure that you are getting what you need for a healthy pregnancy. I would think that with a healthy, balanced diet, proper vitamins and exercise that you can have a healthy, successful pregnancy with little to no weight gain. Please keep up posted. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!!
