  1. I started using aloe vera on my tummy. It seems to work great!
  2. Does anybody else have experience with Medicare/Medicaid coverage??
  3. Are you still around? I was wondering how it went!
  4. I can relate to this topic. I really need someone who enjoys being active and prefers to eat healthily. I have a hard enough time keeping myself motivated in the right directions without struggling against another person's bad habits on top of my own. With that said, though, I would be happy to meet someone in a similar situation to my own who is highly motivated.
  5. I still eat popsicles. They seem to help make my tummy feel better at times and also help me get a little more of my liquids in.
  6. Are you getting enough water and protein? And exercising?
  7. I have told my closest friends and family but I haven't shared on social media.
  8. Are you at least getting the sponge swabs? ?
  9. I completely agree with all of the above. Buy only what you think you'll need for the first few weeks. My tastes change almost daily but there are some protein powders that I never could stand. Also, vitamins. Ughh. I can't tolerate any of the bariatric vitamins so far.
  10. My surgery is 4/8 and I begin my liquid diet tomorrow, 3/25.
  11. It is completely normal to be nervous. This is, after all, life changing! But I know we are all prepared for that or we wouldn't be here, right? ❤️
  12. My open gastric bypass is scheduled for April 8. I am 5'7 and weigh 352. My goal is around 200 but I would like to be closer to about 160!
