I just moved to the puréed stage of my program on the 27th. Sleeve surgery was on the 12th. During the full liquid stage was just nauseous most of the time. Yesterday I tried two baby spoons of yogurt and immediately threw up. Today I had a couple bites of scrambled egg and it went down fine, started drinking a protein drink and 20mins later I am throwing that up as well. Any tips to try and avoid being sick or what I should do?

I was sleeved March 12, 2019. As of now no regrets. It definitely has been hard but for me the potential health benefits outweighed the risks. -
Thanks I’ll try that. And have been waiting 30 mins before and after eating to drink anything.

I am also 5 days post sleeve. I was given compression stockings at the hospital and was told to wear them everyday at least until post op appt, possibly longer. As far as protein goes I’ve been drinking premier protein shakes they aren’t clear but have been okayed by the dr. Hope everything else is going well!

March 12 here. Doing okay though I totally over did it yesterday and was out of it most of today. And am currently only able to finish one protein shake and about 32oz of water daily, total challenge trying to get it all in

I’m also 3/12. I’ve been doing okay, real sore though. Not the incisions but the skin around them is what is most sore, I don’t get it. I am having a really hard time drinking more than one protein drink plus all the water I was barely able to get 24oz of water on top of one protein shake. Any suggestions for trying to get more in?
