  13. KareBear714 have you tried Unjury Chicken Protein drink?
  14. Thank you for the book referral! Will look for it now!
  15. IWhat flavors do they have in the Protein 2.0? I agree the protein shakes feel too sweet and thick. A couple of days ago I thought my stomach was growling I was so hungry but have now recognized it’s these weird bubbles in my stomach. This is definitely a whole new feeling. Definitely looking forward to chewing food! I bought some sf hard candy to occasionally chew on.
  16. Hi Fox star! Not knowing your history or where you are in your journey I’m not sure how to respond. I would assume if they gave you what they said you were supposed to consume in a particular time frame that you should to maintain your health. Maybe call them and clarify?
  17. I am 55 and had the sleeve June 4 after many years of debating with myself whether or not I should have WLS. Hoping to find some women close to my age having recently had surgery to bounce things off off.
  18. Anyone else here have the sleeve June 4? I’d love to hear how you’re feeling and how you’re managing “meals”, fluid intake, protein drinks.
  19. Yes! Thanks for starting this! I am married mother of 2 grown daughters, 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 grand baby on the way. I lost my Mom and Grandma last year. I decided to have surgery to try to be the best version of me I can be and enjoy healthy life for as long as I can with my family. I had sleeve done on June 4. I am 5’4” and was 214 going into surgery. I’m really looking forward to meeting some people enduring this challenging journey all at the same time.
  20. Thanks GradyCat! I have figured out my size sips to take. Now no pain. Next hurdle, protein drinks. Yuck!
  21. gabybab I did the same thing! I bought 3 big containers of protein powder trying to make sure I was prepared for the next 6 weeks. I can hardly stomach it. Big investment too!
