    February 2019 Sleevers?

Hey Feb Sleevers, how is everyone hanging so far? I've lost almost 125 lbs since 24th Feb, and its going great. Is anyone else starting to grow an appetite to nibble anything now and then? Attached is a photo for my current progress.

    February 2019 Sleevers?

Today marks my 2 months sleeve anniversary ... I am getting a bit worried though, not because i am not losing weight but I am fairly losing quickly ... my doctor said as long you take water, vitamins and do not feel dehydrated or dizzy (which I'm not) you should be fine. I started at 353.4 lbs, lost 11 lbs pre-surgery and 48 lbs post surgery that's almost 59 lbs in 2 months + 1 week pre-surgery. I am quite happy that I'm shedding weight, I'm just worried i might end up with saggy skin faster this way ... Anyone else seeing a fast response from surgery?
  6. Hi There, I'm 1 week post my Gastric Sleeve surgery, been feeling quite happy and excited for taking this decision however I have a question. My surgeon has advised me to drink as much water as possible, I've been drinking around 2.0-2.5 Liters per day excluding juices, but one thing that intrigues me is that my surgeon asked me not to focus on proteins for the first month and just stick to the provided diet. I take my daily protein from skimmed milk and chicken broth, but I feel I am not having enough according to the Bariatastic app I'm barely taking 15g per day. Has anyone's surgeon instructed them to limit their protein intake the first month? I do feel it is a bit weird that I am not having much protein, I have bought a 20-pack Labrada Sugar free protein shake which I will ask my surgeon this Wednesday if I can have it.
  7. I am 6 days post gastric sleeve surgery and I am getting some acute pain in my left shoulder that is keeping me from even sleeping properly. I tried taking prescribed painkillers but without real effects. I have no stomach issues, high temperature or nausea/vomiting feelings. I consulted my surgeon and he told me this must be some gastric gas residual and you should walk it off Did anyone get the same shoulder pain sensation post their sleeve surgery? How did you cope with the pain? Thank you

    February 2019 Sleevers?

My surgery is on Sunday 24th Feb, I was too excited but now I'm getting multiple weird feelings ... especially that my family and work colleagues are talking me on not doing the surgery ... It just annoys me that people are now saying "He's taking a shortcut" ... "He's not trying hard enough" ... "He's just lazy" I will only get 1 week rest before I head back to work, based on some people's experience would I need a longer rest? and what would it feel like within the first week and on full liquid diet?
