I think you’ve already proven you’re committed to this process and that you’re courageous by taking the first steps to get where you need to be on your journey!! Really you should be congratulating yourself....it takes guts (literally) to go through this and boy the hormones post op are hell. After going through it myself less than two weeks ago...I can say that there are a bunch of badass folks on this forum who refuse to settle...we’re all chasing our dreams here. You just added a huge weapon to your arsenal in the battle for better health. You’re going to do great??

I was sleeved on 1/24/19 and my emotions are all over the place. I was crying stirring my cream of wheat for no reason. I’m chalking it up to my body had a big adjustment and everything needs to realign. I end up feeling better after 15-20 mins.

Yes. It's normal. But here's the thing. It's your responsibility to figure it out. Figure out a way to get your protein in. We all did it. Ask your doc what your protein goal is for this early out. Many only had a 40-48g protein total. By the end of my first week, I was getting 60g in. I ate according to a timer and schedule and not because I was hungry. And 60g is only 2 drinks.
Add a spoon of protein powder to your yogurt to up the protein total. Add an ounce of Protein Drink to your yogurt to thin it out. Add protein powder to your eggs (unflavored). If you tolerate cheese, add some cheese. I love cottage cheese cooked with scrambled eggs. It melts! Who knew?

I could go for feeling a slight bloat between my boobs, that I could handle, it's the pain, the upchucking and slimeys Precious Pouch produces on solid-er things. but someday I will win the food battle and food really will stay down! Precious is an unrepentant BRAT!
