I have an ethical problem with MLM companies, and choose not to do business with them.

I have seen several people mention gaining weight after 5yrs post-op. I too am starting to experience weight gain and no longer feel the restriction like I use to when I eat. Had anyone had the revision to help get back on track?

I drink Herbalife shakes and teas almost daily and I've had no issues at all (8 weeks post op). I started about 4 weeks post op on both. I also drink Spark from Advocare and their collagen and haven't had any issues with that either.

I have not used that particular brand, BUT, my surgeon did prescribe me phentermine (sp?), and I found that helped tremendously. I understand not wanting to go to a pill, but if it works, it works. I support whichever way you go. :)

Has anyone in this forum used the Trim Away pills after surgery? I was sleeves April 2017 and I am gaining my weight back ? I have ordered the Trim Away pills from Bariatric Pal they are suppose to suppress your appetite and I don’t think they are working for me because I’m hungry a hour after taking the pills and drinking my meal replacement shake. ??‍♀️ Any suggestions?

This has been widely discussed on this site, and you'll find that people have strong opinions for either keeping it a secret or telling all. I personally have kept my surgery private. Only my husband and children know. I don't feel obligated to tell anyone my personal medical history. I wouldn't expect someone to tell me they had a vasectomy. It's none of my business. I've changed my eating habits, so I tell them what my diet consists of but leave it at that. Too many people want to criticize another person for his/her life decisions, and I don't have time for that. I'm focusing on being positive and healthy and don't need the drama, especially at work.

Only my husband, children and best friend know. I'm very private. Because my husband is dieting and we are eating very low carb, when folks ask, I attribute it to a change in diet.
