  1. I was in an 18 day stall and upped my calories by 150 (from about 800 to 950) and then started dropping weight again. I’m consistently losing about .5-1.0 pounds a day since then.
  2. I went through the same. I just told my boss I was having surgery. He never asked what kind and if he did I would have said it was personal. I took two weeks off work and was paid through my companies short term disability while off. Because my insurance covered the surgery and I had a doctors recommendation for being off after surgery, everything was covered 100%. My HR rep did have to get paperwork from my doctors office so they probably know what the surgery was for but they are not allowed to share that info with anyone either. I’ve still not told people at work I had this surgery. I feel it’s personal and none of their business. Of course I’ve lost weight and people notice but they have also seen me dieting and I think assume it’s because of my diet change that I’ve lost the weight.
  3. I was the same way the first month or two. Lots of gas and acid reflex. I did try gas-x which helped some. It should get better as you progress. I had my surgery 1/15/19 and I’m currently feeling great. Gas has gone way down and the reflux did too. In my opinion, the first 8 weeks sucked but now I’m so happy I did the surgery.
  4. Had my sleeve done in 1/15/19. Since the surgery nearly everything tastes terrible. The only things I can stomach is chicken broth and popsicles. My protein shakes, sf Jell-O, sf pudding, yogurt, cream of wheat, etc makes me nauseous. Does this pass? I’m afraid I’ll never get my protein count up. I’m using chicken bone broth so I’m getting some protein but nothing near my daily goal.
