I had a few reactions like that too but they werent in my body and they didnt know how i felt with my own personal being if that makes sense lol. My close family and friends supported me and thats all that mattered to me. Good luck with your surgery!

Thats how im feeling too because i am only 22 years old and i have never had surgery in my life and July 18th is coming extremely fast lol So im anxious but so excited. Id rather feel nervous for something that's going to help me tremendously then nervous to see if im going to have diabetes when i go to my PCP for check ups every year. This is gonna be so worth it and congratulations!! This definitely isn't easy but you got this ?

I know exactly how you feel! Today was the day i found out my date which is July 18th and im feeling all those. Im also 5'5 and 275 lbs and ive been obese my entire life and i'm only 22 so i'm ready for this surgery im honestly more excited than anything else. I finally have lost the weight the dietitian has ordered for me to do and now my papers are submitted to my insurance! ? How long did it take for your insurance to approve you?? What if they don't approve you, what did you do?? ?

I think the dietician just wanted me to be committed to lose a few pounds. But i just got weighed in yesterday at my doctors and i made the weight! So im super happy right now?

Gee must be nice lol when i met with the dietician all she wanted me to do was to lose 10 lbs. Which i felt was easy but that was like 3 months ago lol so this month i got very serious about eating healthy and working out and i go in tomorrow to my PCP to get weighed in. I hope im down but i wont give up!

Hey everyone! ? Quick question i hope some of you can answer. After your insurance approves you for bariatric surgery, what are the next steps?? And do they let you do payments on the surgery or does that just depend on your surgeons office?? I feel like this process is taking forever and im trying to be positive. Thank you! ?
