  1. I had my gastric sleeve surgery on 8/23/19 and am feeling hungry. Has anyone else felt hungry after their surgery.? I read that people lose their appetite, but my stomach still seems to growl, or is it just gurgeling?
  2. I am scheduled for surgery this Friday, August 23rd. My insurance still hasn’t given the preauthorization and I’m started to get quite frustrated. I don’t want the surgery to have to be postponed. Has anyone else had to wait on insurance approval after the date was already set?

  9. My internal med dr suggested a book called Always Hungry by David Ludwig and I was wondering if anyone else has read it and what did you think? I have just started reading it.
  10. My gallbladder surgery is Tuesday 2/12. I’m preparing for the big surgery (gastric sleeve) that will happen this summer. Any advice for me for after the gallbladder surgery? This is my first major surgery.
  11. I have not had my surgery yet, but used to work in surgery and I was always told that the anesthesia makes people’s sense of smell real sensitive. It should go away with time.
  12. I really like my dr and PA. I have to fulfill the 6 months for insurance but that just means it will put surgery in June for my birthday.
  13. I had my first bariatric sleeve consult appointment today. I was told that since I have gallstones, I should have my gallbladder taken out before I have the gastric sleeve. Is it common to have problems with your gallbladder after gastric sleeve?
  14. My first appointment is the 14th and I also, am very excited. Wishing you the best of luck in your journey.
