  1. I only have to do 3-month supervised diet and I saw my doctor on 1/10/2019 for the first time. My insurance doesn't have any waiting period but the doctor I picked has the 3 month supervised diet. I do like this facility due to they have everything in-house, psych, dietitian, cardio and they have a lifelong program that stands by you before and after surgery. I should be able to have surgery in April so fingers crossed...
  2. Good luck keep us posted....
  3. Congrats on surgery date and keep us posted....
  4. That is terrible!!! Don't let this denial be the end see what u need to do to make it happen!!! File an appeal based on current BMI and dangers...
  5. This is my first post on BariatricPal and my journey started today!!!! I had my initial consult with my doctor today. My starting and heaviest weight is 286 and I'm 5'10. This is my last opportunity at this due to this being a lifetime of yoyo dieting. I met with pa, dietitian, and surgeon today. I have to have a upper endoscopy scheduled for February, pysch eval, cardiac clearance and clearance from a hematologist. My insurance doesn't require any structured diet but the surgeon requires a 3 month structured diet which is understandable. So I just wanted to introduce myself and hope that I can get some excellent feedback from BariatricPal. I will keep you guys updated on my journey... Here we go...
  6. Congrats on your success!!!
  7. BlueCrush u looking good my brother!!!!!! Keep up the great work.....
