I haven't been on here in awhile. Just wanted to give an update. This morning I finally hit Onederland. Such a great feeling. Still have a little bit together, my Doctor is extremely happy with my results, as when I first met with him last September I was 345! Weight loss has def. slowed down, but if i stick to my plan it hopefully it continues to track downward.

Yes i am 100% over protein drinks. I've recently been just doing the premier protein water. Which i am handling better as in taste. The milky consistency was starting to make me sick from having to drink it basically for 5 weeks straight pre op and post. Yes buffalo wings are my favorite. my stomach is okay with spice so I have also been pureeing the can chicken putting some seasoning on it and a little buffalo sauce ( Buffalo wild wings sauce) and it has been heavenly. Only been getting 1-2 ounces but thats okay. Today i have white chicken chili for lunch at work. Someone just came around and said im ordering everyone lunch since we have to be here pizza or salad, and i proudly said no thank you to both. Not allowed salad until 6-7 weeks.

December 6th. I had my follow up with my nutritionist on the 18th and she moved me to purees and said do that for 2 weeks. I've been able to keep everything down that I have tried.

Starting soft foods tomorrow. Down about 21 pounds in 3.5 weeks. Been kinda stuck since starting purees hopefully it lifts soon. Doctor said average is 4-6 pounds a week still hitting that average so I'm okay. See him again in 2 weeks so here's hoping go down another 10 or so before then.

First day back to work in 3 weeks. The struggle is real today.

I was done around 9am. My surgery was outpatient... gas pain was okay.. walked a lot..my stomach is numb now. I am home on my couch. That k you all for prayers

I'm 1 week out. Been getting a lot of rest. When I drink the gas seems to have lessened. I was able to get through a yogurt this morning without having to put it back due to gas pains. Still have another week until pureed. I did try some crab meat last night and it didn't cause any gas or discomfort. I go to dietiation on Tuesday gonna ask if I can move forward earlier. Start vitamins tomorrow.

My surgery was 12/6. So far not to bad. Pain is tolerable haven't taken any pain medicine... the first 2 days were clear liquid only. I am now on full liquid for the next 12 days. This started today tried some greek yogurt and a slim fast it was okay. Will try again tomorrow. I can see this is going to be a long 2 weeks. Already want to be on pureed.

My surgery is scheduled for December 6th!! Nervous for the beginning but excited to start my future. Grateful to have found this forum. A lot of great information.

My doctor required it in order to shrink the liver. Said the liver is above the stomach and this will make it easier to access and have better recovery period. I was given 2 weeks of new direction diet.

My surgery is scheduled for December 6th!! Nervous for the beginning but excited to start my future. Grateful to have found this forum. A lot of great information.
