  4. Thank you for responding. My team did not give me a workout routine and I didn’t want to overdo it. I went to the gym and 30 minutes on the treadmill I felt weak afterwards but I’m trying to do more each day I go!

  6. I’m finally 1 month post op and I am clear to go to the gym. At what pace did everyone start out when returning to the gym? I was going to the gym for 1-2 hours before surgery and I know I’m no where near that energy level now ☹️

  22. See if you can get a few more days off. I was told by my nurse that the Anesthesia can cause us to feel really fatigued after surgery so maybe that’s where our tiredness is coming from.I have not had the back pain that you guys are experiencing but I have been extremely fatigued and I know I’m not getting my fluid and protein intake requirements...I’m struggling
  23. I completely understand. This morning I was able to drink 4oz at a time and I took milk of Mag with no relief yet so idk what to do. But the pain is very minimal now and I’ve only taken Tylenol 1g today

  25. I was sleeved on the same day!! How’s everything going so far with you?
  26. I’m 3 days post op and I feel surprisingly good. Premier Protein shakes are still a little harder to get down than my Powerade zero and water but it’s improving. This may be TMI but when did everyone finally had a BM. Should I go ahead and take Milk of Mag or wait???

  29. I’m sorry love. They put a patch behind my ear before surgery and were giving me zofran every 4 hours and that has help a lot but I’m concern about nausea when I get home though

  31. I had my surgery yesterday as well I’m getting ready for discharge now!! How do you feel today?
  32. I just had the VSG surgery yesterday and I must say I am impressed by the lack of pain I am having. I just knew I would be crying non top but the pain is very durable. It feels like I have done a million crunches and I have a lot of gas but walking has really helped! So far I am only able to hold down 2oz of water and one popsicle and hour but my doctor said that is normal for the 1st couple of days. I’m glad I made this decision hopefully all my other 11/26ers are doing great as well!!
