  1. I am pretty sure it is the surgeon you need to listen too. They are the ones who know what can happen to your staple line if you do not follow the diet and the stages. I haven't heard of anyone else being allowed chicken at 3 1/2 weeks but if your surgeon says so, then great.
  2. I think it is dangerous to not follow your surgeons instructions. There are reasons we have the stages we have, and it is mostly because certain foods will compromise your staple line, which as they know can be fatal. I know it is hard to stick to it but it is necessary; we don't always understand the reasons but your surgeon does. And thankfully, it does not last forever. Just until you are healed up properly.
  3. I will get some today!!!
  4. Sorry you feel that way! Don't feel alone we are here for you, with you! You can pm me anytime!!! I was sleeved 10/23 so we aren't too far apart. The nausea is absolutely the worst; worse than any pain, imho. I had it super bad as well. For me I wasn't able to start vitamins until the soup stage at 2 weeks. Even this week I have had occasional nausea and had to take a pill for it. The soup was such a relief from the gross sickly sweet protein shake,..BLAH!!! I am looking forward to my soup time, lol. Hang in there things will get better everyday. Hugs to you.
