  2. At my 1 week check up my dr. says go straight to regular food, just chew it up real good. I was uncomfortable at first but I'm easing my way through by starting with hard boiled eggs, manna bread...that's it so far...so good...
  3. My doctor says everything looks great. I'm doing great. I can start eating regular foods just to chew it up good. What! No! What about Stage 2, the puree stage? He says no and I'm fine. I don't know I don't think I'm ready. Is there anyone who skipped from clear to regular foods after 1 week of surgery? Any advice???
  4. Its been 1 week since yesterday and I just started having BM's. Why does it smell so bad when I only drink the same thing day after day? And when will it go away? It's a good thing I live alone...this is embarrassing!

  6. I thought I was consuming Protein. I'm having exactly what they gave me at the hospital the day after surgery. Bone broth, tea, water, and jello. Oh and a Flintstone complete vitamin. I see my Dr. tomorrow, I will ask him then.
  7. This is why this forum is so important to me. I get the support I need and the doubt lifted. No one understands but me how the battle against my own body has been. I had an opportunity to fix it for good and I took it. I don't want weight to ever be an issue again in my life! I want to live...
  8. Hi Lynnlovesthebeach….my Dr says to stay on liquids 1-2 weeks. I will ask him tomorrow during my appointment.
  9. Good for you! My problem is fibroids. I requested to have them removed and my Dr. said they will go away...smh Ok well they've been there for over 14 years, doesn't look like they are staying and growing. I know this is something on my to do list, I had to prioritize some things.
  10. Hi Everyone! Is there a thread for Vegetarians? I couldn't seem to find one.
  11. Yeah I did have pain killers....Thank Goodness! But I was exhausted getting up every hour from the hemorrhaging and having to sleep sitting up. I felt like I just bought a newborn home. Hopefully the hard part is over cause this aint easy.
  12. How do I join the October sleepers? I’m new to this ??‍♂️
  13. I hate when I try to confide in someone and they say "You don't need surgery" … ? I say " Oh yeah...tell that to my bad knees and achy back..You try carrying a 70lb child around everyday" this was how I felt.. Do they really think I haven't tried other ways. Maybe they think WLS is the easy way out. This is why I only told a few selected people. I have enough battles to fight.
  14. I’m in I love IF. This is how I lost 25 lbs in 3 months for the required weight loss before surgery. Is it safe with a sleeve? Maybe it would be ok as long as the protein is sufficient. ????
  15. It’s been one week. Had my first BM and I still feel bloated. I feel like I should’ve lost something being I’m on a clear diet. I feel weak so I sneaked in two spoons of plain yogurt to my jello. Went down fine so I’m doing again. I need protein!
