  1. Hello: please help! I have an unbearable pain on the right side of my belly under my ribs and goes all the way to the back/waist on that same side. from the beginning after the surgery I had this pain but it was just sometimes, considering it Was near the stitches I thought it hurt there because that is close where the doctor removed the stomach and manouver everything from that side. Weeks past by and the pain dissapeared. And yesterday 19 days after my surgery here I come again with the same pain but now is super strong I would say 8 from 1-10 or sometimes 9/10. It’s horrible if I bend, If i turn, if I twist and I have to walk like huntchback because if I put straight hurts more!!!! The doctor told me it’s normal, that the abdominal wall is healing and bla bla bla... but is it really? Don’t get me wrong doctors know a lot... but i hate that for them always always is normal unless you have fever or kind of dying.. so please guide me. Oh the pain is like someone is pulling me from the inside.😭
  2. Hi everyone! Happy new year! I had my gallbladder removed as our previous conversation in October. And it’s been ok since a then. But suddenly sometimes I have pain again on the same place....right upper rib area. Is it normal to have this pain like a burning feeling? Can it be like stones in the ducts? Or maybe slow digestion of a fatty food? At this point I’m imagining anything. It’s been two months for my gallbladder removal and pancreatitis and suddenly the past week I’ve Been having this on and off pain not as strong as the first time but is getting me worried. Any similar experiences?
  3. Hello everyone! 4. Hi everyone! It ended being the gallbladder and one of the stones of the gallbladder is blocking the fluids to the pancreas and I have pancreatitis too😩. So I’m having an endoscopy for the blocking stone and the gallbladder removed later on today. thanks for your support. Wish me luck!
  5. Hmmm 🧐 interesting to know. I’ll check today how I feels if not I’m definitely make myself check in the hospital. Thanks 😊
  6. Well I didn’t lift anything, I basically washed the dishes and cleaned the countertop of the kitchen. Maybe it’s that and I honestly hope is that and not something else. 😓
  7. Thanks, I hope that is what you say and not the gallbladder. I don’t want to be in the hospital again😭
  8. Oh I’m gonna try that right away. Right now my pain is right under the rib and when I pressure it’s like it gets connected to all my right side😓
  9. @CyndieRI and @Frustr8 i do have my gallbladder. I’ve never had liver problems or gastric ulcers. I’ve heard the gallbladder pain starts close to the belly bottom and immediately the pain goes down in the very lower belly right side. This pain is up right under my rib... when I put ice in the front where the stitches are and heat in the back it disappears the pain probably in a 70% but when I stand up and forget about the ice and continue normally then it comes again. The only way I feel kind of good is being still like sleeping beauty in my bed not moving, not on my side just laying straight 😓 I’ll keep you guys posted to see how I’m doing by tomorrow.thanks
  10. @brttnj89 do you eat the egg with the yolk? Sugar free cheesecake?!!👌🤤where do I find that?
  11. Thanks for your replies. I’ll check the section of puréed food in this forum and be creative.😊. One last question. Were you able to eat the whole egg in this stage or no yolk?
  12. Hi can anybody please tell me if it’s normal that I have cravings although I’m in the puréed food stage? Why is this?

    Diarrheas- normal?

Thanks for your replies @johnsons13 @matt z @bostonwlkc I had a gastric sleeve. Basically now I’m having shakes, egg whites, yogurt, milk cheese... all as recommended by the doctor, low fat. I’m glad to know it’s normal... I was worried. So I just need to wait and adapt little by little to my new stomach👌
  14. Hello!!! First I’m sorry if the topic is kind of gross 💩 but I need to ask. I’m on my 12 days post -op... and I’ve had like two or three episodes of diarrheas, it comes with pain, cramps, weakness. After all is gone I start to feel better... but basically when this happens my day is ruined because I feel bad and weak before the 💩comes and after is gone the recovery with pedyalite😓is long too. Is this normal?
  15. Hey JackieK! I’m feeling much better today. I’m also trying to get as much fluids as possible, different flavors so I don’t get bored and dehydrated. Let us know what the doctor says about the 👅... 👍😊
  16. Thanks! It’s wonderful to have support 😊
  17. Thanks for your replies. It’s so hard...😓 but I have to be strong.
