  1. I had it!! My doctor was Dr. Illan and my experience was great Really really happy with the care I received, the staff, and how my surgery went.
  2. OP, please don't stress about going to Mexico. There are thousands of people who come from all over the world for medical tourism and leave with excellent care and results. I'm one of those people. I ended up going with BariatricPal MX for my surgery, and I couldn't be happier with how the procedure went or the care I received. Everything was excellent, and I know there are several hospitals in Mexico that provide similar results and care.
  3. Hey y'all, my surgery is on November 30th. I used to be thinner than I am now (like... 130 lbs thinner lol) but I feel like when I was lighter, exercising wasn't so freaking HARD. I feel like even the smallest amount of exertion and I'm exhausted, and I hate that. I feel like all of my limbs are so heavy and I'm lugging my own body around??? Have y'all found that exercise is any easier post-surgery? I'm planning on starting off with simple walking until I'm cleared to swim, because I love being in the water, and I want to introduce little fitness classes as well. Just wondering what the experiences have been!
