Just had mine yesterday, and i am not a sweeten it up kinda-a-girl it was horrible. That liquid is pretty gross, but its over and it was worth it! I will have my surgery next week, and it was required.:w00t:!

It took like a month, i had problems with my doctor and had to bug the h_ll out of them. But i got it done.

I am soooo excited. I was just approved, my surgery is on 10/8/08, so soon! Any advise on what to expect and where I can find a good diet?:biggrin:

So i have been going through this process for a little over six months. I am ready for surgery already! I find myself daydreaming about what life will be like in an "average" body. I can take the plug out of the bathtub, bend over to tie my shoes, wear high-heels, and ssoooo much more. I am so excited, I should have an answer from my insurance company this coming week (thats what they said) and I hope its a YES! It just seems like the process has been so long, the doctors office that i am going to (Dr. Ali, Fountain Valley, CA) has lagged on all my paperwork, I mean weeks. I know once its all done and over weith I will be happy but the waiting is horrible. I am trying my best to keep my mind off of it, doing other things. I just want to be out of surgery on my way to a new life already!

I have Healthnet Arta and i live in Huntington Beach, my PCP just gave me the reffereal with no problems. I am going to Dr. Ali in Fountain Valley, as far as I know, Healthnet does not require a 6 month diet, I didnt have to do it. They require a psych eval and i think thats it. My surgeaon requires some scheduled classes and a doctor talk but that sucks! change your PCP complain, it gets things done ! if you need any help let me know.:cursing:
