    June 2019 sleevers

I’m soooo soooo nervous about my upcoming surgery on June 20th. Today I have a final appointment with the nutritionist. I assume to talk about the pre-op and post-op diets. I have to get my bloodwork this Saturday. I have to see my primary care physician June 3rd for her clearance. I think I start my liquid diet June 6th. See my surgeon June 10th for pre-op appointment. Then my surgery, June 20th. It’s coming so fast! 🤯
  2. Hello. My sleeve surgery is scheduled for June 20th. The last time I had bloodwork was over a year ago, and I was low in iron and vitamin D. I have to have bloodwork within 30 days of my surgery, and I’m wondering if I’m still low, is it likely to delay my surgery? Has anyone’s surgery been cancelled for low iron or vitamin D?

Pre op vitamin deficiencies delay surgery?

Thank you for the responses. I feel better about that possibility now. 😊

    Surgeon resigned

I’m sorry to hear this. I got Bell’s Palsy in March 2017. I hope you recover quickly. Unfortunately I didn’t. I only got maybe 25% function back + synkinesis. apparently at least 80% of people get most to full function back. I am one of the unlucky ones. I hope you get your surgery back on track soon.

    June 2019 sleevers

My surgery is scheduled for June 20th. Could’ve done it May 9th, but I’m waiting on my son to finish the school year so we can spend some time together during my recovery. I only get 1 week vacation a year. Boo. Going to take 2 extra days anyways, and hope I feel ok to go back to work.

    WLS and PVCS

I do plan to ask my cardiologist, which is why I said “ I haven’t asked my cardiologist...yet”. I was asking if anyone else here has had any personal experience with a situation similar to mine. I see you have not, but thanks for your input.

    WLS and PVCS

Hi. I’m new here. I just started the process to get sleeved, and I have 6 months of protocol I have to follow (per my insurance) before I can get it done. My question at the moment is, have any of you experienced frequent premature ventricular contractions at the time of surgery? I’ve been suffering thousands a day for the last 4 months, and scared about whether it will affect my safety during surgery. So far my doctors are calling my condition begning, but I haven’t asked my cardiologist for their all clear for WLS yet, which I have to have per my bariatric surgeon.
