GinWin65 got a reaction from Mrs. Hayes in Menopause Weight Gain 16 years post Roux-en-Y
Thanks Guru, you are my only response so far, and I appreciate the well wishes. This is a 1st for me joining an online support group, and I realize that most of you are far more recent post surgery, but I think my issue is not an uncommon one, and something that could affect so many later in your lives. I have started back on liquid protein and resumed a large daily water intake, limiting my carbohydrates, and solid food to 80% protein, as the carbs makes me want to eat more. Already dropping some pounds.
I would like to say to the group, that I welcome any questions you may have, about long term success, with this surgery. This is the 1st major "bump" in the road for me in almost 16 years, and if I can help anyone I would be happy to ?
