  1. The bariatric store has some great products. I really like the lemon protein wafers. They have 15 G of protein per pack. I'll have a pack as a snack at the end of the day as a treat for myself. The maple oatmeal is good also and is also a good source of protein .
  2. Thank you, both of you for your different opinions . I appreciate it.
  3. Yesterday at work I overheard 2 of my co workers discussing my weight loss. I've known both of these ladies for awhile. Neither of them are over weight. We've even discussed weight loss issues and so forth. They do not know about my surgery, to me it's a personal issue. They were discussing how I could be losing weight so fast. I must have done "something." It kind of hurt my feelings. What difference does it make? I'm just trying to get healthy. Should I say something to them or not be so sensitive?
  4. It's perfectly natural to have second thoughts . However, just remember the reasons why you choose to have the surgery . Good luck to you on Monday .
  5. Hello, I'm in the health care profession . Presurgery I told myself I'm a patient not a nurse! As nurses we are used to taking care of others. Sometimes we need to let the caregiver role go and let others take care of us.
  6. Good luck to you. It sounds like you're prepared. I definitely had an issue with the dry mouth and nausea.
  7. Hi, my first day back to work is tomorrow. I took 2 weeks off. I actually feel great. The first week post surgery was a little rough. Other than that no issues.
