  1. Hi all, I'm working towards my gastric sleeve surgery and am already concerned about hair loss due to thyroid issues and of course, slow regrowth and loss after surgery. I asked my doctor about biotin, and she said that is one supplement that will interfere with thyroid level readings and suggested I not take it since we're trying to get my thyroid straight. Any other Hashimoto patients out there who have this issue? What were your options?
  2. wow! Do most folks stop their meds that fast? How did you know you'd be able to? I've never been told I'm diabetic, though I've been told I have pre-diabetes and take Metformin daily. I've never even been told to check by blood sugars at home. Wondering when I'll get to come off the Metformin after my surgery?
