My dietician also told me about Blogilates for Pilates exercise. It’s a great free site of YouTube videos by Cassey Ho. The videos r upbeat n the cool thing is u can watch tv while doing them if u use your phone to watch the videos. U can download the free app. Majority videos r free n only last 10 minutes or so. She even has a fitness calendar u can print w designated work out videos per day. So no thought needed. Register w the site so u can get the calendars n then go on your phone and add the videos to your favorites within the Blogilates app. Easy. I can do the videos while I’m watching my favorite tv shows. I just love it. I’m starting the Beginner 28 day calendar today.

Woo hoo! Fantastic that the scale is moving.
Shakes might be contributing to hunger. Real food may help you feel more satiated. Protein Shakes are for the first stages when your restriction is tight. They are not meant to be in our diets long term. They go right through your stomach and leave you feeling hungry.
Logging takes practice. It will help you see what a day of food can look like and still stay with in your macros.
Glad you checked back in. You got this!

50 pound weight loss is " NOT A FALIURE!" Its fantastic. Don't compare your weight loss to others. Some of us lose slow and its perfectly fine. You are losing weight and that’s all that matters.
Revision of the sleeve. Let your team diagnose if the procedure was done correctly or if your surgery was stretched by over consumption of food. What many people with the sleeve experience is "grazing ". Eating healthy and unhealthy food over their calories and macros - It is the same as never having surgery. You will gain weight.
Weighing on a food scale and logging my food has been the best tool. It’s the only way I know my calories and if I am hitting 60 to 100 gram protein goal.
Many free apps out there - I use myfitnesspal others use baritastic.

I went to see another dietician today, the other one wasn’t helpful. This one was so thorough n found that yes my calorie in take was high but she thinks the issue is too much protein n not enough healthy carbs. She said my metabolism is slowing so I need to decrease protein from 95 to 75 per day. She said that reduction would ultimately lead to reduction in calories. Strangely said my carbs should be no more than 80 but only from fresh fruits n veggies for the whole day. She also said my water needs to increase from 52oz to way over 64oz per day. She said I need to do some form of exercise daily n recommended doing a short 8 minute video daily just to stay moving n then build from there. She also gave me a link to review a graph of the projected amount to be lost after wls based on my preop weight. It showed that I should lose 100lbs over 12-15 months. I’ve lost 56 since surgery total pre n post loss 71lbs. She said I was doing well despite the scale n my feelings n said w these changes she was confident the scale would start moving again. She has me working on 1 goal this week n that is to increase the fluids n decrease the protein. Then next wk I do 8 minute workouts daily n to continue the 1 day of exercise for 40 minutes I was already doing. She was wonderful. I’m to follow up in a month for a weight check. She said on the high end I can set a goal to lose 8lbs by then. So I’m going to try for it. I’m renewed again.

I’m too much of a newbie to offer any advise but I happened across this article while searching for another topic. I thought it had a lot of useful info and I saved it in my favorites for future reference. Although I snickered at the “how to easily....” .

@ED Thks. I keep hearing about the rest but my dr n dietician have stated they don’t agree w that practice n advised against it but I think Monday I’m going to do it for a couple of days. My surgery was in July 2018 n my weight has been the same since Dec.

Siggi’s has some sugar but no artificial sweeteners so some prefer a little bit of carbs over artificial sweeteners. I eat Siggi’s daily but don’t eat many other carbs so it works for me.

I had same issues but do the following to try n stop:
    1. I order kid portions so I don’t have a lot of leftovers
    2. I keep reminding myself all that I went through to get this done
    3. I remind myself of how my life was before surgery
    4. I don’t want to stretch my ouch out
    5. I think about all the medical issues I can have if I keep eating

My dr told me to start drinking some of my protein drink n water 30 mins before I eat to stop me from feeling so hungry which leads to eating more than I should.

Shut last night I ate a McDonalds small fry and then a double cheese burger but left a corner. I ate it all within 30 minutes. I didn’t even feel bad about what I had done nor did I get sick. We all have weak moments. You just can’t make these weak moments a daily part of your life. Now moving forward, I know that since I slipped I have get back on track for at least a week as a goal then I push to 2 weeks of appropriate eating n so on.

@Biddy zz thks. Those r great suggestions. I just need to get it together n regroup. I need to do more meal planning. Yes that “Real Good Pizza co.” is a once n awhile thing but it’s basically no carbs which is why so many people r eating it especially those on Keto diets but yes I’m sure plenty of additives. Definitely no clean eating.

@Ed_NW ok cool. Thks for explaining. I know I should only eat 1/4 but I want more n I thought my new pouch wouldn’t be able to allow me to eat more than I’m supposed to. The REAL GOOD pizza brand is a pizza made from chicken breast no dough. The dough crust part of the pizza is actually a flattened chicken breast. It’s soft n can be cut w a fork. My dr said I could eat chicken as long as I could smash it w a fork n to chew until it’s applesauce consistency. Maybe this isn’t what they meant when they said cut or smash w a fork. Oops. LOL.

Thks. My husband wants me to try a support group. I’m going Thursday after work but I’m getting better. I made dinner for 1st time since surgery for my family last night. I figured the trick. I ate my dinner before I started cooking. I felt myself. Now I’m dealing w a 1 week stall didn’t expect it this soon but I’m starting my exercises n weights this week now that I’m 6 wks post op. I’m sure that will break it. I’ve also noticed my skin isn’t firm anymore. It’s softer n squeashy. Although I was big I had a lot of firmnessnow that gone so I’ve got to begin weight lifting to firm it back up some. I’m also doing a body skin routine to help like using coconut oil wash oil n body scrub to side in firming my skin. I’m also using Nivea’s firming products. I got my resistance ropes last weekend n will start using those tonight.
