  1. Don't worry. We are the same age and I had the surgery one week ago. I was nervous too, not so much about the appointments but about the surgery. If you don't have a known heart problem chances are that your heart is fine. The psch eval is nothing more then sitting down and talking about things that might come up with other people or yourself, I picked a women and lucked out because she had had it done six months before. Anyway there are a lot of steps before surgery but you will get there. Ask lots of questions, I assumed some things and I shouldn't have such as I woke up with three little incisions and one 3inch incisions. I was very surprised that I had the larger one but I didn't really ask, I just thought they all would be small. Good luck. Lisa
  2. Hi everyone, I had my surgery one week ago. It took a little longer to get my strenght back then I thought it would but I am finally feeling normal. I am starting on soft foods today. You would think that would be exciting but at this point food is not important at all,(HOW COOL IS THAT).:blushing: I'm glad I found this website, I look forward to meeting lots of new friends. Lisa
  3. Hi Coleen, I am also newly banded. I had the surgery last Tuesday. I expected to be feeling a little stronger by now but I am getting better every day. I woke up with four incisions. One of them is about three inches. I thought they would all be smaller ones. What did everyone else have? Lisa
